WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Help customers understand coverage options and recommend solutions that fit their needs
- Quote, bind, and service policies (new business, renewals, endorsements, billing questions)
- Follow up on leads and renewals by phone/email/text to close sales opportunities
- Document all customer interactions accurately in our agency/CRM system
- Work closely with the team to resolve issues quickly and deliver a great customer experience
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong communication skills and a helpful, professional phone presence
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Customer service and/or sales experience preferred (we will train the right person)
- Coachable, goal-oriented, and comfortable asking for the business
- Willingness to obtain/maintain required insurance license(s) (we support training)
- Licensed (preferred) or able to obtain Vermont insurance license upon hire (required).
- Rutland office preferred; fully remote (no on-site) considered for the right candidate.
LICENSING REQUIREMENT (PAID TRAINING/STUDY TIME):
This role requires a Vermont Property & Casualty insurance license (and/or Life & Health, as applicable). If you’re not currently licensed, we will provide paid study time and training after hire to help you pass the state exam.

- Our office is open Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm..
